Rules for Liquid Nitrogen Dispensing
LIQUID NITROGEN DISPENSING IS RESTRICTED TO CZU DEPARTMENTS AND FACULTIES
Ordering – Arrangements for the collection of liquid nitrogen must be made by phone or email at least 48 hours in advance.
Dispensing – Nitrogen is dispensed only on Mondays and Wednesdays. It will be dispensed only into a container that meets safety requirements for the transport and storage of liquid nitrogen (i.e., a Dewar flask).
Payment – Each collection of nitrogen is recorded, and the accuracy of the data is confirmed by the recipient's signature. Based on this data, a semi-annual statement is prepared and sent to the respective departments for settlement via internal transfer—specifically, a Request for Accounting Adjustment (usually sent via email to the department secretary).
