The mission of the Department of Law is to provide students with a basic range of legal knowledge necessary for their future application. The system of subjects has been rebuilt at all faculties to ensure the continuity of individual subjects taught by the department and students have gained a comprehensive theoretical basis and more detailed knowledge of individual legal branches. The Department of Law is not only the largest disseminator of partial legal knowledge for non-lawyers in the Czech Republic, but thanks to its teaching profile, it maintains a high qualitative level in monitoring the latest legal trends related to the implementation of European law into the legislative framework of the Czech Republic.
