Prof. Ing. Mansoor Maitah, Ph.D. et Ph.D., is a researcher in the field of bioeconomy at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Czech University of Agriculture in Prague. After graduating from the Czech Technical University in Prague, he received his PhD in International Economic Relations from the University of Economics and a second PhD in International Political Relations from Charles University. Since 2011 he has been an associate professor and since 2019 a professor at the Faculty of Economics of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. His scientific research focuses on macroeconomics, international economics and low-carbon economy issues with an emphasis on bioeconomy and circular economy. His work contributes to the development of strategies leading to the transition to a bioeconomy, the streamlining of agricultural production and the promotion of sustainable development principles.

Ing. Karel Malec, Ph.D. is an academic at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, whose work focuses on the interconnection of sustainability, agricultural economics and low-carbon economy.
During his scientific research career he has been involved in many projects as a principal investigator, co-investigator and consultant. His involvement in international projects in Asia and Africa has given him the opportunity to put the theoretical knowledge of bioeconomy and sustainable development into practice. This brings new solutions for agriculture, environmental protection and socio-economic development. This experience is reflected in his publications, with more than fifty scientific and conference papers published with an H-index of 7.

Ing. Klára Bartoňová is a PhD student at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, where she studies economics. Her dissertation thesis focuses on the economic impacts of the Global methane pledge and other green policies.
