Saturday, August 10th: Arrival and accommodation
From the airport you can take bus No. 119 to the end station Dejvicka. The Dejvicka underground station is as well accessible from the main train and bus stations. From Dejvicka you can take bus No. 107 or 147 to the Czech University of Life Sciences (stop: Zemedelska universita) and there you can easily find the Students' residence JIH. You need 1 ticket (It can be bought for 32 Czech Crowns in a yellow ticket dispenser and in some shops) for the whole way. You can change money at the airport or withdrawing your money and collecting cash from an ATM. Taking a taxi is much more expensive. When you arrive to Prague, please contact Mr. Jiří Hušner, our student support, on +420 732 547 363. He will meet you at the reception desk of the halls of residence and help you with the check-in.
Sunday, August 11th: Welcome - inviting dinner
The official opening ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. in the meeting room of the FEM CULS in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Director of the course, teachers and technicians (Jiří Hušner will wait for you at 5:45 p.m. in the reception area and will accompany you to the meeting room.).

Accommodation
The accommodation is provided in the Halls of Residence (“Koleje JIH”) at the university campus in double bedrooms with a shower, toilet and refrigerator. Bed linen and towels are at students' disposal. The laundromat, situated in the basement of the Halls of Residence, can be used for free as well. The kitchen (situated on each floor) is equipped with cookers and a microwave. However, you have to bring your own dishes! The lunch will be provided (working days only) in “Menza” (dining hall) at the CULS campus.
Accommodation will be provided for the whole duration of the course, i.e. from 10th August to 6th September including. It is possible to prolong the accommodation for several days before or after this period but only after previous agreement with Mr. Jiří Hušner, B.A., mobile: +420 732 547 363, jhusner@gmail.com
Health Insurance
Make sure that you have a proper full-coverage health insurance for the whole period of the EILC. Notice that European Health Insurance Card or VISA/Master Card cover only basic expenses.
Internet
There is a LAN internet connection in your room. The fee is 5 € per month. Take your own RJ45 patch UTP cable for connecting the computer to the networks socket.
Connecting of the electrical equipments
We use the type E (CEE 7/5) AC power plugs in the Czech Republic (230V, 50 Hz). This is same type as in France, Belgium, Poland etc. You have to buy the appropriate adapter if needed.
