Field practices mostly take place in the form of excursions, during which students are acquainted with the operational background and technological procedures in the breeding of ungulates and breeding pheasants, and the spatial arrangement of the field and pheasants. In the pheasantry of LZ Konopiště, students also actively participate in the hunt as hunters.
